Right- (left-) handed curve

Equivalent names: dextrorsum-sinistrorsum, dextrorotation-levorotation.

A right-handed curve is a curve with positive torsion ( are opposed; an observer with their feet at M and oriented along the binormal vector sees the next binormal vectors turning to the left; when the curve crosses its osculating plane, it comes out on the side of the binormal vector).

See at circular helix, conical helix, helicoid, solenoid and Borromean rings.
