AXOID
The axoid is the ruled surface generated by the consecutive
positions of the instantaneous screw axis of a solid in motion, either
in the fixed space (fixed axoid), or in the space linked to the
solid (moving axoid); this notion is the generalization to space
of the base and rolling curve
of the motion of a plane over a fixed plane.
